Quick and easy

How it works in 3 steps

Get the app, both of you

One of you starts and sends a link.
No account needed to look around.

01

Answer today's question

One a day

In your own time. Whoever answers first
waits, and nobody can peek.

02

Reveal together

The good part

Both answers open at once, and your
shared streak ticks up a day.

The reveal

Neither of you sees anything until you have both answered

This one rule is what keeps the answers honest. There is no peeking at what your partner said and then softening yours to match. You answer for yourself, they answer for themselves, and then you both find out at the same moment.

Your streak

The streak belongs to both of you, not to one of you

A day only counts when you have both answered. Keep it for a week and you bank a save for the week life gets in the way. Milestones drop a dated pebble into your collection, so the streak leaves something behind instead of just a number.

Everything you said

Your answers stay, and they get better with time

Every question you have both answered is kept together in one place, and you can anchor the ones worth keeping. Reading back what you each wrote months ago is the part couples tell us they did not expect.

Packs

Eight question packs, and
four ways to answer

The shelf

Start anywhere, and
play the first three free

Every pack opens with three cards you can play all the way through, reveal included. No padlocks on the shelf, and no guessing what you are buying.

  • First Raft

The easy beginning. Warm, funny, and a little more revealing than it looks.

  • Long Distance

Built for couples in different time zones, because answering apart is how this app already works.

  • Deep Dive and Closer

The questions that take a second before you answer, including a set inspired by the classic 36-questions study.

  • Hot Takes, Most Likely To, Rewind, After Dark

For the nights you want to argue about pizza, or find out who they think would survive longer.

Card formats

Not just open questions

Packs mix four kinds of card, so answering never settles into the same rhythm two nights running.

  • Say it in your own words

The classic open answer, revealed side by side.

  • Guess what they said

You answer, then you guess theirs. Finding out how well you know each other is the whole game.

  • This or that

Would you rather, with a match reveal when you both picked the same side.

  • Finish the sentence

Half a thought each, and you see how differently you both finished it.

Pricing

One price, wherever you see it

There is no trial to forget about and no countdown. The daily question is free for as long as you use it, and one subscription covers both of you.

Questions and answers

The things couples ask us first

For the daily reveal, yes: you each answer on your own phone so neither of you can see the other's answer first. Packs also have a one-phone mode you can pass back and forth, which needs nothing from your partner at all.

No, and that is on purpose. Instead of a countdown you have to remember to cancel, the daily question and your streak are free for as long as you keep using them, and every pack lets you play its first three cards in full.

Yes. One of you subscribes and both of you get everything. You do not each pay, and it does not matter which of you it is.

It works especially well. Answering apart and revealing when you are both done is how the app already behaves, so time zones are not a problem. There is a Long Distance pack written for exactly this.

No. Until you have both answered, each of you only sees that the other one is done. That rule has no exceptions, because the moment it does the answers stop being honest.

Not much. Every week you keep the streak going you bank a save, and a missed day spends one automatically. Nobody gets a guilt notification about it.
